One of the reasons Nichelle Craig signed up for my Joyous Family™ Mastery Program was to be more effective as a Girl Scout leader and to connect better with the girls.
She achieved everything she wanted and more! I am thrilled for her and the wonderful young women!
Together they created a financially successful, enjoyable fundraiser for their local animal shelter, a cause the girls chose and felt strongly about.
When I arrived, the fashion show had just ended and the raffle drawing was just beginning. There were homemade treats and a vendor selling fun, fancy women’s purses and jewelry who gave a portion of their sales to the fund-raiser.
“I used the skills you taught me, Connie, and let the girls create this event themselves. Everything was their idea and they organized it all. I was just there as a resource when they needed me. I’m so proud of them.“A few of the moms told me I should be more directive, but I did what I knew was best for the girls. I knew they could do it, and I trusted them.”
During the creation phase, one of the girls proudly told her, “Boy, we sure did work hard!” You can hear the joy and confidence in her words.
Toward the end of the event, the girls called Nichelle to the stage where they surprised and honored her with a beautiful bouquet of red roses. They gathered delightedly around her, eager to give her a hug.
Their loving words to her – “Thank you so much for helping us. Whenever we needed someone to talk to, we could always come to you. You’re so awesome, Miss Nichelle! You rock!”
